Dewas Tekri
Dewas is known for the Devi Chamunda temple and the Devi Tulaja Bhavani temple situated on a 300-foot (91 m) hilltop commonly known as Tekri. According to the Department of Archeology, this place is about 1100 to 1000 years old. It is said to be the most spiritual place of the city.
It is believed that a few drops of Mata Sati’s blood fell on the top of the hill, since then, Goddess Chamunda resides here. The temple is also called Rak Chamunda Mata Temple.
Vikramaditya, the great emperor of Ujjain used to visit this temple via tunnel – which was being closed In Dwapar Yuga.
Lord Shri Krishna-Balarama also used to come to Dewas here to collect wood for the ashram. The area used to be a forest of sandalwood trees.
Chamunda Mata is considered to be the Kul Devi of the Panwar clan and the Maratha Panwar is the original Rupen Parmar.
Maharaja Tukojirao Panwar (III), his personal assistant and famous writer Edward Morgan Forster at the time of Sena Sapta Sahasstri, also mentioned Chamunda Mata Temple of Dewas in the book * The Hill of the Goddess *.
The famous Nath Guru Yogiraj Shri Sheelnath Maharaj also established his Dhuni Chamunda Mata temple near Dewas after his arrival.
The irony about the temple is also that Chamunda Mata and Tulja Mata are sisters at and due to some differences, the Deities of the two goddesses went in different directions. There is a large crowd of devotees here during Navratri. Tewari, the mother of Devas, is also called the small Vaishno Devi

The ancient Shri Mahakaleshwar Temple, Bilawali is located about seven kilometers from the city of Dewas . This temple is said to be 300 years old. It is believed that this Shivling of Lord Mahakaleshwar grows every year.

Ma Kela Devi Mandir
The Kela Devi or Kaila Devi Temple was built in 1995 by South Indian artists. The temple has a 51 foot statue of Lord Hanuman. The original Kaila Devi Temple is located in the Karauli district of Rajasthan built on the banks of Kalisil River. The temple is dedicated to the tutelary deity, Goddess Kaila Devi, of the erstwhile princely Yaduvanshi rulers of the Karauli state.
